Organic Red Quinoa

This organic red quinoa comes from the Peruvian Andes. It has a nutty taste after cooking. Its flavour intensity sits in between white and black quinoa. The red color goes excellent with white rice. The contrasting color makes it really appealing.

It is grown at 2500m to 4000m above sea level. Year 2013 was the international year of the quinoa, declared by the United Nations due to its high nutrition and sustainability. It has being chosen by Nasa as a plant that can be grown in outer space which contains all the essential amino-acids our body needs.

The nutritional value of all white, red and black quinoa are all similar.
